Citizens Awareness on Corruption Project

Problem: Corruption has long been a major impediment to the socioeconomic development of Sierra Leone.

Overview: PaNBA implemented the Citizens Awareness on Corruption Project to increase public awareness about the negative effects of corruption and empower citizens to actively participate in efforts to curb it.

Child Rights to Education Project

Overview: The Child Rights to Education Project was implemented to promote the right of children to access quality education in Sierra Leone.

Focus areas: children's access to education, girls' education, disadvantaged communities, corruption, exploitation, school-based violence, awareness raising, policy advocacy, community involvement, and monitoring the quality of education in public schools.

Enhancing Ethical Accountability in Public Offices

Overview: This project is dedicated to curbing corruption and social injustices. Its primary objective is to strengthen accountability mechanisms in public institutions.

Activities: capacity-building workshops, public engagements, media campaigns, collaboration with government agencies and civil society organizations, and promotion of ethical standards, transparency and public-official accountability.

Monitoring of School Fee Subsidies

With support from the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary School Education, PaNBA worked to monitor public school administrators and teachers to ensure the proper use of school subsidies and school development plans.
