Pay No Bribe Animators Sierra Leone (PaNBA S/L) is a social accountability, anti-corruption and development civil society organization established on the 20th of November 2018. By a group of citizens who worked as community Animators for the three-year campaign project, named "Pay No Bribe" — funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) and implemented by the Anti-Corruption Commission of Sierra Leone and its partners — the organization was founded with a focus on curbing corruption and addressing social injustices through legal frameworks, institutional mechanisms and community engagement in the rural communities of Sierra Leone.
We believe corruption is a tool that hinders the development of every country and weakens the fundamental principles and values of democracy, transparency and accountability. PaNBA S/L is registered with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development through the local councils in Bombali and Kono Districts, with offices in both districts.

Our people
Pay No Bribe Animators Sierra Leone has a total of 25 functional staff, including community volunteers. As a gender-sensitive organization, PaNBA has increased female representation in the administration — female staff play a critical role in the programmatic and administrative functioning of the office. In summary, PaNBA has 15 program staff and 10 volunteers, and the majority of our staff and volunteers are female.
PaNBA also has a total of 11 Advisory Board members, including the Board Chairman. They advise the administration on project implementation and work closely with donor partners. The board meets quarterly to discuss the affairs and development of the organization.
